What do I do if my EFTPOS or debit card is lost or stolen?
If you think your card is lost or stolen, the first step is to temporarily block it, to prevent it from being used by someone else.
You can temporarily block your debit card, in Westpac One® digital banking. If you find your card, you can easily unblock it there as well. Here’s how.
Using your Westpac One app:
- Log in and select “Cards” from the bottom navigation bar.
- Select the card you would like to block.
- Switch the toggle on the right to 'On' to temporarily block or to 'Off' to unblock this card.
Otherwise, you can cancel your debit card and order a replacement. Here’s how.
