What do I do if my debit or credit card is misplaced, lost or stolen?
If you have misplaced your debit or credit card, don't panic. You can now temporarily block and unblock your card instantly in Westpac One® online banking with CardBlocker. Here's how to block a credit card.
Your card will be temporarily blocked from making transactions. You may remove this block anytime. You can continue to transact using Apple Pay if your eligible card is loaded to your wallet app.
While your card is blocked your annual account fee may still be charged until your card is cancelled. To cancel your card please call us on 0800 888 111 weekdays between 7am and 8pm and 8am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays or +64 9 914 8026 from overseas.
If your card is lost or stolen report it to us immediately, by calling 0800 888 111 (or if you're outside New Zealand +64 9 914 8026), at any time of day or night. If you are calling us after 8pm NZ time, press '1'.
