We can protect your cards and transactions while you’re overseas if you let us know your travel plans through Westpac One® digital banking. 

  1. Login  to Westpac One online banking on your computer or the Westpac One app 
  2. If you're on your computer, either select ‘Support’ in the top menu or ‘Manage cards’ in the side menu on the Accounts screen. Then select ‘Notify Westpac of my travel’, enter your travel plans and contact details, and click ‘Submit’. 
  3. If you're on the Westpac One app, go to the Cards tab, select an active card, then select 'Notify travel'. Enter your travel plans and contact details and tap ‘Submit’. 

Some countries block text messages from New Zealand. If you haven’t received a text message from us within 5 minutes, you’ll need to call us on +64 9 912 8000 (charges apply). We’re available weekdays from 7am to 8pm and weekends from 8am to 5pm NZT.
