What are the daily limits for ATM and EFTPOS transactions?

The amount available to you for withdrawal is dependent on your card and transaction type, a full list can be found on our daily limits page. Daily Limits are in place to protect our customers from fraudulent activity where our customers cards or pin numbers may be compromised.

How can I get around this limit?

The daily limit is in place to protect you against fraud. The limit applies to your cards rather than your account. So, an alternative option could be, if you have a joint account and the other account holder has their own card, they could use their card. Another option is to ask if there are other payment options such as a bill payment through Westpac One®.
