To qualify, you’ll need to be

a New Zealand resident

a full-time tertiary student

studying at an NZQA accredited institution

taking a course that lasts at least one semester (minimum 12 weeks)

receiving your student loan, allowance or any other income paid into your Easy Access Student account

*Service fees apply, for example overdrawing your account without an arranged overdraft.

To qualify for an Easy Access Graduate account you’ll need to

be a New Zealand resident

have completed a fulltime course of study lasting at least one semester (minimum 12 weeks)

have studied at an NZQA accredited institution

have your wage, salary or other income paid into your Westpac graduate account

* There may be a price for some other services, for example overdrawing your account without an overdraft.

Prices are charged in accordance with the Student and Graduate banking packages brochure and Westpac’s Transaction and Service Fees brochure. The charges and the information contained in these brochures are subject to change from time to time. You can only have one tertiary package at any bank, and you can only have one Easy Access Student account. If you’re under 18 years of age, your application form must be co-signed by your parent or guardian.
